Hundreds of thousands of Rohingya are living in precarious situations despite fleeing the persecution and repression they experienced in the Rakhine region in Myanmar. The Rohingya remain one of the largest stateless populations in the world. Nearly a million live in camps in Bangladesh, and the country is now sending some of them off to live on a remote island.
